The Activity Center at the Museum can accommodate up to 25 children. If you plan on inviting more than 25, please let us know in advance and we will try and accommodate you.

Fee: The fee for a Birthday Party is $100, for a period of 2 hours. Full payment must be received 2 weeks before the party date.

The Party Package includes:

1. Tables

2. Chairs

3. Natural Science gift for the birthday boy or girl

4. Fossil dig (weather permitting): The party can walk uphill behind the Museum and look for fossils, at no cost. You get to keep any fossils you find, as long as it is not of a new species that has not been discovered before.

5. In inclement weather, the party will be able to ‘hunt’ for fossils in wooden trays in the Activity Center, and you get to keep any fossil you find in each tray.

Please note that there is no refrigerator or freezer on the premises. We encourage you to bring your own drinking water and snacks. Please bring your own party favors, decorations, plates, and dining utensils. Parents are welcome to arrive about an hour earlier to set up the party and complete decorating the Activity Center. You will have to clean up and take down all decorations after your party is over.

For students age 5 through 7, the Museum requires a minimum of one adult for every five students. For students age 8 through 14, the Museum requires one adult for every ten students.
